Leadership Foundation Scholarships
in Sonoma County

We are excited to announce our new scholarship this year!

Beverly C. Wilson Scholarship for one $2500.00.

The $2,500 Beverly C. Wilson Scholarship honors the memory of the late Petaluma
businesswoman and longtime manager of the Sonoma-Marin Fair. Applicants must
be a Sonoma County high school graduate or college student attending a four-year
accredited university, preferably to study business or agri-business. Eligible
applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and show a well-balanced history of
community service and leadership as well as a motivated work ethic.

 

AND RETURNING SCHOLARSHIPS!

Major Alarm Scholarship  major-alarm

Local company Major Alarm is kindly giving a scholarship of $1,000.00 to a Sonoma County applicant that has been in 4-H and is applying for college or a trade school. Does not need to be Ag related field. 

Mens Garden Club

We received $2,000 from Mens garden Club to use for  scholarships this coming year. Available to Sonoma County residents pursuing a career in agriculture or Agri-business.  Applicant must be entering or attending a college or accredited trade school.

The Saralee McClelland Kunde Community Award

The Saralee McClelland Kunde Community Award will grant $2,500 annually to a young person 21 years or younger who has demonstrated excellence in volunteerism and leadership and who is committed to making a difference in our community.


The Dempel/Johnson Scholarship A one $2,500 scholarship available  to Sonoma County residents pursuing a non-agricultural career. Applicants must have been active in 4-H a minimum of 4 years, including his/her junior and senior years of high school. They must be entering or attending a four year university or college. This scholarship is available to applicants who have received other Youth Ag & Leadership Foundation scholarships, but may receive this scholarship only one time.


Joe DiGrazia Memorial Scholarship Available to Sonoma County residents pursuing a career in agriculture. Applicants must have some agriculture experience, such as an agricultural 4-H project, or work experience on a ranch. They must be entering or attending a college or trade school.

 The Youth Ag & Leadership Foundation of Sonoma County has received $4,000 from American AgCredit.  These scholarship funds will be available to Sonoma County residents pursuing a career in Agriculture or Agri-Business. They must be entering or attending a college or trade school.


 

Youth Ag & Leadership Foundation of Sonoma County  Available to Sonoma County 4-H members who have been active in 4-H a minimum of 4 years, including his/her Junior and Senior years of high school. Applicant must be entering or attending a college or accredited trade school.


Youth Ag & Leadership Foundation of Sonoma County Project/Event Grants Available to 4-H Clubs and county-wide projects, activities and events. Funds will not be granted for payment of judges, or for expenses normally incurred in carrying out a project.
